Mary Ann Cherry - biography
Cherry is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America and co-founder of the Pastel Society of the
Northern Rockies . While her medium of choice is soft pastel, she also works in oil and watercolor - rendering all subject matter.
Mary Ann was statewide winner of the first "Idaho Paints Idaho" competition sponsored by
Idaho
State Parks and Recreation and 2006 winner of the Southeastern Regional Award. She has been an award winner at the Phippen, Museum show in Prescott, Arizona as well, and a regular exhibitor at the C.M. Russell art show in
Great Falls, Montana .
Cherry is a workshop instructor for Mona Lisa Art Supply Company and also teaches national workshops in many locations.
